Unbelievable amount of product push. Trying to have a massage and bombarded about skincare questions, then pushed to buy products on sale, or packaged. Then we are glared at when we don’t purchase or book another appointment. Terribly relaxing

I booked a manicure express and honestly it was the worst nails I’ve ever had in my life! The girl who did my nails was lovely and polite but I don’t think she has ever done that before. Seriously I think a newborn would make it better! You guys don’t polish or clean the nails properly and at the end don’t even remove the extra nail polish on the skin or anything. $50 for this is a rip off. I got home and had to re-do the nails myself. Never going back!

Lauren did my eyebrows and changed the shape completely and did not listen to what I asked for. I asked for the same shape and she changed it completely and made my eyebrows incredibly thin when I asked for them to be a little thin but still thick. She did not show me my eyebrows until the very end, usually when I get my eyebrows done they show me in the mirror throughout to see if I like them. If Lauen had shown me the progress maybe then they would not have turned out so thin. At the end when I was unhappy with the new shape and how thin they were, Lauren blamed me and said my eyebrows were uneven and she had to change them. I think it is unprofessional to blame the customer and she should have told me if she needed to change the shape before doing so. After all of this I was made to paid for it, even though my eyebrows are ruined. Lauren did not listen to me about what I wanted and did not care at the end.

I felt like my treatment was very rushed and the therapist was very much in a hurry to get out of there (1hr facial finished in 45min). I felt more stressed when I left than when I went in. I also think she was on her phone while I had a face mask and eye pillow on ... I could hear her fingers tapping on a screen while she was completing a distracted one handed head massage. Such a sad experience considering it was to to take some time out for me 2 weeks before my wedding.

Not a great experience if you are a regular. They always change staff and you turn up and you get a completely new person. Usually someone with not much experience

Initially I felt welcomed and happy to be there as they did offer me an appointment same day. However from when I sat down all I heard was sales pitches and it made me feel uptight and anxious. Walking in 10minutes later then my appointment time, I was asked to sit on a stool in a room far too small for two people. I was then offered three treatments all more expensive then what I had a voucher for and said yes to adding essential oils for an extra $10 purely so I would stop being offered more expensive treatments. During my massage I had asked for firm pressure and it was good and as well as during the treatment (it was nice and firm). Although, maybe it was a different style to what I am use to but it felt like it was pinching motions and no actual massage was done. What was incredibly uncomfortable and hurt was the lack of oil used, to the extent my skin felt like it was being dry pushed around and was quite painful. I appreciate I could have asked for more but was hesitant to incase of more up-selling. When I was told the treatment was done (and before getting up off the bed) was shown products that were apparently used during the treatment and was again, offered to buy them. I felt so uncomfortable as I was still laying there with only a towel to cover me as I was again being sold more products (to which there was a lack of knowledge of the ingredients). The entire experience felt like a sales pitch and I genuinely have never felt more uncomfortable and wanting to get out of there promptly as I could instead of being relaxed which I had hoped to be. I have been to Pure Indulgence's before and had positive experiences so I assume this was a once off however I doubt I will go back to try again.
