Normally I am very happy with the service however this last visit for a half leg wax I was removing wax one day later in about 5 places and much leg hair was missed.

I would like Pure Indulgence Management to recognise staff member - Holly from Carindale. She gave me exceptional advice about which treatment would be best for my skin and which would address the concerns that I had about my skin. I was very concerned about peels and microdermabrasion and she alayed all my fears about these treatments by explaining then to me in very simple and easy to understand language, and when I experienced my peel it was exactly as she described to me that it would be. Her knowledge was exceptional and her customer service was excellent. As a busy mother with not much spare time or cash, it was very refreshing that she understood that for me skin streatments were a luxury. She did not push products on to me which I really appreciated. She made my experience very relaxing which is exactly the reasom I have facials for. To escape for a while and have me time. It is because of Holly that I will return to Pure Indulgence at Carindale - as previouys experiences have not been relaxing, as the therapists are continually trying to push their products whilst I'm trying to zone out and relax. Prior to this appointment I was considering switching to another company's beauty salon. However purely because of Holly I will return. The only negative aspect of my experience is that I often don't find the girls at the front counter very friendly and when you pay for your treatment the girls sort of push you to one side to get to the next customer. To me exceptional customer focused service, means that the front counter girl should finalise your account and future appointments before moving onto the next customer. You feel quite worthless, like great we've got your money now move on. Let's face it we all have to wait our turn in life even at the Woolies check out.

I was kept waiting for 20 minutes today. When I arrived I was told it would be 5 minutes but it took 20 minutes before my appointment began. I don't mind waiting and I do understand that sometimes these things happen. I had taken time from work to be on time today so was disappointed. But the most disappointing thing of all was that last year I arrived exactly 5 minutes late on a Sat due to car parking issues and was told I had to re-book as I was too late. The rather loud voice and negative tone in front of other clients from your service provider was not appreciated at the time. In fact I stopped coming so did my daughter and another friend based on this experience. I have only been back to redeem vouchers and today because it was convenient. The young girl today was very pleasant but the awful previous encounter will mean I will be exploring other options as are my daughter and my friend. This particular person may or may not still work in the business but she was rude and nasty. I did ring and alert the salon to this but never heard anything in response despite being told I would be contacted.

I want to commend Brooke who was the most informed therapist I have ever had dealings with. I learned more about my treatment (eg how to prepare for it in future) as well as other offerings available from the salon than I have ever done in over 25 years of visiting salons throughout Australia and overseas. She is clearly passionate about what she does and this makes an incredible difference to the service she provides.

im a regular who every month gets a lash tint and brow wax - this visit the therapist confirmed my treatment before starting - only to be told that id only been booked in for the brow wax. Completely puzzled as to how this is the case given i had said both last month when i booked back in (and always get this). Was originally made to feel like it was my fault that the treatment wasnt right and was told that she (the therapist) would have to confirm she had time to do the rest - very much felt like it was an inconvenience until she returned and said that yes she had time. Lacked the head massage or hand massage that usually goes with it. I think this is now 4 months in a row this has happened. Today was the last straw - i dont think i will be returning especially given the value for money doesnt seem to be there any more (even more so with the price increase at the end of the month)
