I am extremely disappointed on my recent facial at Pure Indulgence as the whole experience was basically pointing out my skin flaws and an up sell on products. This up sell continued when my facial had finished and I was lying on the table still undressed - I felt very uncomfortable. I did wish to purchase a product/s prior to my facial, however after the continual sales push I received throughout my treatment I decided not to. When I told the therapist that I would not be purchasing any products her voice changed to a negative tone. I couldn’t wait to leave the salon. I have a 9 month on baby and what was meant to be some ‘me’ time and a somewhat relaxing experience turned out to be awful one.

Booked a hot stone 80 min massage at pure indulgence carindale on 30/7/24, therapist name Lauren I asked her to focus on back side of body, no need to massage the front. She massaged back and back of legs placed a hot towel on my back that gave me a burning sensation as was far too hot, I don’t think she checked the temp before applying on my skin, I had to ask her to massage the back of my arms as she execluded the arms, no hot stones were applied on back of my arms, which didn’t feel complete as I paid $159 for the hot stones massage. At check out manager didn’t seem too interested to hear the feed back. When massage finished the therapist said, ok we r done!..not a particularly relaxing way of finishing off what’s meant to be a relaxing treatment. You can email me to discuss further. Thanks

My experience leaves much to be desired. The massage ,"room",cupboard, was small,hot and dirty.I could not open the cupboard to store my clothes,the massage bed needed to be moved to get to the cupboard. There was no air in the room.The price of $119,does not warrent/ demand the standard of service. This experience was a great disappointment. I requested relaxation and stress relief, the hot cramped conditions added to my distress. I paid to be even more uncomfortable. The outward appearance of the salon does not match my experience at Carindale. No return or referral from me.

I appreciate that the girls feel like they have to make conversation but sometimes we go there just for 30mins of piece and quiet. Also my girl rushed through the service that quickly, spoke the whole time and did my eyebrows black and not natural brown then told me that she'd hate for me to have wasted my visit. I asked for natural brown that's what I want not what you think is best especially after asking me what i'd like. I ended up having to fix my eyebrows once I got home, not happy for what it cost.

I overheard my therapist receiving negative feedback from the Manager about the way she was trying to secure another appointment to someone she has just finished up with, wasn't too professional and the Manager seemed more focused on profit rather than how the session went. Then, after my session, I was expecting the therapist to ask me for feedback on the session however, I was handed some water and while drinking, the upselling began. Look, I'm all for discovering new products but it seemed a bit forced. Lovely therapist and brilliant massage! A bit of noise from dishes clanging around from the neighboring tenancy. Would like to see more focus on wellbeing. My therapist shouldn't be a salesperson.

I had a voucher for a facial package that wasn’t listed on the menu. The lady pointed at another facial package (the ultimate) and I asked what it included. She replied “everything “ and I asked what that meant and she rudely declined to tell me. I then opted for another service to the value of my voucher, including a brow tint. I was specific in requesting a light brown colour but I left the store with big black brows. She couldn’t even help to fade the colour when I was trying to scrub it off. I was left pretty upset and embarrassed.
