I usually go to Indooroopilly but as I have moved closer to Chermside it was my first time at this location. I had booked in as I was was wanting a destresser from work and left pretty disappointed. After the first five minutes the music stopped working. I could hear all conversations outside, my technician breathing and door closing etc. when I asked after about 25 minutes for this to be turned on the response was ‘it’s been broken on and off but I’ll see what I can do’. I also suffer from light sensitive migraines. With no forewarning, a bright light was turned of to use the extraction machine - whilst the technician told me this was the reason afterward, she gave me no warning and I suffered a headache the rest of the day. I also had to ask her to turn the lights down make to the same level they were out beforehand as they were only very slightly dimmed following. Whilst the massage was okay, it was not nearly as good as other massages I have had in the past at pure indulgence. At no point was I asked if the pressure was okay, whether it felt good or the like. Really disappointing experience and won’t return to this store.
