Lucy: Pro's: great finished product with eyebrows shape looking good, pays attention to detail and will go the extra mile to remove the smallest of hairs Con's: method is extremely painful compared to other beauticians experienced at this salon (e.g. Jade or Nicole who are brilliant), both times Lucy has done my brows she pressed so hard on my forehead before taking off wax that I felt like I was going to have bruises - very awful and uncomfortable, and one time she went over an area so many times that I bled (not the usual bleeding from a hair plucked that won't grow back, but from skin that has had rough treatment) I have had wonderful experiences with Jade nad Nicole and will continue to visit this salon, but will NOT book in with Lucy again. The nice looking brows at the end are just not worth the more painful procedure/approach/method she uses compared to other beauticians.

Bit disappointed that was not consulted on whether I wanted a hand or foot massage they just went ahead and did a foot one. As I did want a hand one.

The customer service and advice received by the staff at the reception desk was wonderful as always. I usually have a great experience with my treatment as well which was a full Brazilian and upper lip wax. Unfortunately, this time around the technician was very heavy handed when pressing down on the wax during the Brazilian wax. The wax kept on "ripping/snapping" when she would pull the wax off - this made the experience much more painful than what it usually is. She was quite rough and messy during the process with wax dropped in various places. During my upper lip wax, I had wax placed on my cheek and even up my nose. I saw remaining hair on my upper lip when she handed me the mirror but I wasn't confident she could use a tweezer so I agreed that no further waxing was required.

I really enjoyed the facial and massage experience i had. The main problem with this experience was that they were very pushy with their products. I understand you want to sell them, but it's not a very good experience to open your eyes after a nice massage and facial to have the person standing in the dark over you for 5 minutes telling you about deals and the products. I think this may have just been this store but the noise from the reception and outside in the shopping centre could still be heard so it wasn't as relaxing as it could have been. I still had a good experience with pure indulgence however i just think if someone comes in with a gift card just to have a nice time they should probably take the hint they're not in there to spend hundreds of dollars on skincare. That's just how i felt anyway.

At my last visit the facial etc i received was wonderful the issue I have is that I was charged an amount that i went back and asked to know what it was for as I did not receive a receipt only my visa docket. the explanation was not satisfactory or the followup I asked for was not received. The appointment was at night and yes the store was busy but I am sure I have been overcharged as I purchased a series of 3 facials for $255 plus some eyecream and was charged $454. When i asked about it they had charged for a service that I never received and the consultant said she would do it in the next session. Basically I am not happy because one not being able to clarify the breakdown of the amount when asked. This was Thursday night and I have not had the opportunity to go back to the store. This is the first time this has happened but I do disagree with the $454 and the dismissive type of response when I wanted to clarify it. I will be returning to the store to ask for an official receipt and for the consultant to confirm that the service was not provided.
