Booked appointment online but when arriving at salon was told that usually gift vouchers are not accepted on Sundays. No mention of this when booking was made. An "exception" was made and I was allowed to go ahead with appointment. The voucher $250 was purchased first week of January and given to me by my son so it was a bit off putting. Pure Indulgence has been paid in advance for services by way of the voucher so why wouldn't vouchers be accepted on a Sunday? The services were done well but I used the remaining amount left on the voucher for product so as to avoid returning.

As usual, Tanya inflicted pain with much gain for me. Her attention to detail has ensured I am picture perfect for the function on Saturday. Luckily, she will also work on my face that day to ensure she is proud of her creation! I have learnt however, that I will be growing the hairs on my legs much more before I come in for sculpting. Two lots of waxing in a just over a month is too soon for me to forget the pain! Thanks Tanya... you are my favourite master of pain.

Tanya has proven herself to be more than just a sadist who can inflict pain when it comes to beauty! Her treatment yesterday was one which lifted my spirits and helped me gain several complements at the wedding that afternoon when I was told I looked "radiant". Someone else told me they have never looked better. Though later I saw them put their glasses on, so I wasn't not sure if I should their comment at face value, but decided I would, as any compliment is better than none in my book. Although I had makeup on, the heat outside (and a borrowed husband's hanky!) soon swiped it off so I have decided since the complimentors were seeing me au natural,their words must be true. Looking in the mirror told me this too but I didn't want to look or sound too egotistical by saying how great I looked. What can I say, Tanya can work miracles! Next month she will need to lift the bar as otherwise I will start to look humdrum again which will be deflating.
