I was devastated when I learnt that my favourist therapist was on holidays (How dare she leave me when I needed her??!!). I suspect she knew I was planning to come and decided I wasn't worth her time! I will exact revenge so she had better watch out! Anyway, instead I had a therapist I have never had before who was quite good, Nikya(sorry if this is misspelt!). She was thorough in seeking information about the products I use, listened to the advice I gave regarding my usual inability to use peels and gave information about the current deals available on products I regularly use. Once she commenced the facial, she was professional. When applying the peel section, she sought info about how I was dealing with it then made a point of massaging the product in in such a way that it alleviated the tingling. At the end of the facial I was surprised to see that I had not been as affected by the peel product used as I anticipated. Overall I was pleased with the work done by this new therapist. One thing I do encourage her to do though is to seek feedback from her client as to the pressure used during facials. I found that she was somewhat stronger than I recall experiencing during a facial. However, since she was new to me, I did not complain and merely noted this for future reference. Since a facial should be an enjoyable experience, some clients might find her strong massage technique off putting.
