As usual, my visit with Tanya was a breeze. I adore that woman! I came out of it feeling like a princess, not 20 years younger like the woman before me! Boo hoo!!! However, as a princess, I managed to get out of the menial duty of cooking and cleaning up dinner last night which I was most appreciative of. One thing I have learnt though from yesterday's visit is not to to do facial waxing before a facial. This morning I have what appears to be the repercussions - red and dry patches where the fragile skin around the mouth has been lifted/burnt (not sure what to call it but this is what it looks like as it reminds me of sunburn without the heat and pain) as a result of products applied during the facial. I felt the areas being affected yesterday during treatment but usually have tingling and some discomfort in places during facials due to dry skin. Since I was dry in places before we commenced, I thought this was just normal for my skin and type of treatment/product. However, this morning it seems more pronounced. Please be aware I do NOT blame Tanya for something I did not comment on at the time or anything. I already know she will be upset when she reads this anyway. Concealer is a girl's best friend at times! See ya in the near future when next I need to be made feel special.

My treatment was lovely. The only thing I didn't like is that I got a facial and at the end she said, ' I've just put sunscreen on your face so your skin is protected when you go outdide'. I left at 3pm and wasn't going outside. I'm great with sunscreen but was disappointed that after a facial she just clogged my skin up with sunscreen. It would have been nice to have been asked, 'would you like sunscreen on?'. The whole thing was amazing but that did ruin it for me at the end.
