I am disappointed that shellac was $25 and removal of shellac was $0, the only reason I would not come back and use the salon again. Everything else was great, but I feel charging that premium price for a service most places offer free or for considerably less is out of touch with the current market expectation.

Almost every waxing visit I get asked about exfoliation and moisturizing. I know it would be best to be done more frequently, however with a husband, three kids, and two jobs, I get done the amount of exfoliation and moisturizing I have time for...... I would really prefer not to be reminded every single time. This morning my consultant did talk a lot about the benefits... I do understand that's her job, but I can not necessarily spend more time exfoliating, just because the consultant tells me about it every visit. It gets somewhat tiresome. Also, today I was a little disappointed in the wax left after "clean up", it made my clothing and shoes stick to me.

The overall service of my treatment was great. I am however not impressed by my experience. I was sent into my treatment 15 mins later then I had booked for, which didn't worry me. This although did result in my foot refresh only lasting for approx 10 mins (advertised for 30mins) with an exfoliate and a quick file and polish. Over the phone I had requested exactly what was on the gift voucher I received for Christmas which was an express facial and a foot refresh. I finished my treatment and came out to realise that I was booked in for a wellness facial which resulted in paying an extra $30. I booked the appointment knowing I didnt have to pay (I've recently quit my job to move away from home to attend University, meaning I'm trying to save money). I wasn't impressed to pay the difference when I know exactly what I had requested over the phone. The treatment was amazing but I walked away a bit disheartened.
