I didn't enjoy today. I kept being lent on and it felt very uncomfortable. At one stage she rested her arm on my face/mouth. She had her face so close I could smell her breath, which was not nice. I had to move to the top of the bed and ended up with my head on a very hard piece. I am unsure I could go again.

Extremely dissapointed with my wax service today. The therapist did not appear to know what she was doing and as a result has left me with raw marks (top layer of skin waxed off) along my bikini line and buttocks. I've also come home to find multiple areas on my legs and feet with have been missed and will need further hair removal - i suspected this would be the case, despite pointing out missed areas at the time of the appointment.. I've been waxing for over 10+ years and this was one of the worst waxes I have ever had. I can't believe I've actually paid for it.

On my recent visit I was very disappointed, as I was the visit before. I don't believe my daughter and myself received the lovely tranquil visit as we had received on our first few visits. It seemed very rushed, on previous visits we received relaxing music a lovely lemony scented eye mask a few minute little massage , which was just so lovely and relaxing. The last couple of times it seems like we are just in and out and they cant be bothered to go the extra mile. The beautician asked did I want this did I want that ,it seemed like she didn't want to be very bothered as it was a 7.10 p.m. appointment. I know it was only an eyebrow wax but the reason my daughter and myself were coming to pure indulgence was because you were going the extra mile and I was enjoying the pamper time. If i was wanting the quick rip off of my eyebrows I would just get it done at my hairdresser, and i feel at moment the job was only as good as a hairdresser job. Very disappointed Melissa Cooper

I would not normally be one to complain and if I had had only one of these experiences alone then I would be inclined just to pass it off as a one off. Unfortunately though I have had three bad experiences now with this salon in three weeks. 1st - I had facial waxing and an eyelash tint. I ended up with a small bald patch in my hair where the therapist dropped wax and pulled it out. My sister also had a piece of hair cut out today from wax being dropped on her. 2nd - Definitely the worst of the three. I had a brazillian and half leg wax. It was a particularly hot day and I was put in a rather hot room with an electric blanket on. Because it was so hot the wax wasn't setting properly which in turn caused the whole thing to hurt more. I ended up with wax all over my clothes from the wax being dropped on me back and forth from the pot. And I ended up with a reaction on my legs which I have never had in 15 years of waxing. Lastly, today I had booked in for another facial waxing and eyelash tint. My appointment was attended to 40 minutes late. Again, I do not normally express my concerns but considering I have had three bad experiences out of four appointments I feel this should be brought to your attention. I do not feel that the quality of service has reflected the near $400 I have spent there in the last month.

The salon is in a shopping complex. Fine for maintenance type appointments but I certainly wouldn't go for a indulgence type treatments. Very expensive for the actual service.

I had a terrible experience with Pure Indulgence and am disappointed in Pure Indulgence. I ended up getting wax all over my right eyelashes. The lady who was doing the job was lovely and sadly blamed me. I have been coming to Pure Indulgence for years now and I know sadly these things can happen but I went through and burning pain around my eye and worry about was has just happened. The lady kept me calm and was very good to me. My problem is with management. No sorry no discount or no charge. That would have softened the blow. So I paid $26 for lovely eyebrows and a swollen and red and burning eye area. My eye is still puffed up and it’s 3.35am and my service was at 11.40am. I think I should get a free service because this happened to me. You should value and care about you clients.
