The staff here are technically proficient and friendly. They greet you by name and are very welcoming. I have never found the seating arrangements particularly comfortable. The chairs have no footrest so for short clients like myself, it results in one's feet dangling if the stylist needs to crank up the chair to cut hair. I would prefer to sit in front of a table rather than in front of a full length mirror so that I can easily drink my complimentary coffee or read a book or magazine comfortably. Footrests should be provided. However, my main issue is that each time I have gone to the salon in the past few months, I have found the price of a cut and colour increasing without warning. My last visit cost $193 and I thought this was excessive.

It's a small criticism, but my partner (male) frequents Rhubarb and often talks about getting a head massage (which he doesn't like or dislike), but when I went I didn't receive a head massage, and I was really looking forward to getting one with my haircut.

Very happy with style & cut. However had to wait 1/2hr for apt and didn't leave salon until 1hr 45min after apt time (cut and blow wave only)!

I had to wait half an hour past my appointment for the colourist to be available. Then I didn't get the colourist who I booked the appointment with. The prices have also gone up. Not sure I'll be returning.

I must admit that this is the most expensive haircut I've ever had. I had about an inch of hair cut off and it was $302. Yes, it was coloured and toned, but seriously that's outrageous. I'm not sure if I can afford to come back.
