The make up artists was 20 minutes late to begin and did not apologise for being late which left me unable to attend my hair appointment and missed it. My partner who had been outside came inside to talk to me and give me the car key before he went and got a coffee and he told me after my appointment that when he had walked in she had been quite rude to him outside the salon and then inside. The lashes were glued to my eyelids and not my lashes which cause me a significant amount of discomfort and irritation to my eyes. The make up did not match my skin colour at all and my face was a completely different shade to my neck and almost fake tan in appearance. This look was meant to be just a natural look which turned into nothing like the photo I showed her and I looked quite fake and mismatched. The look I showed her had a very simply thin line for eyeliner used but the make up that was done to my face half of my eyelid was cover with thick black eyeliner. The eyeshadow had not been blended correctly and look messy. The overall make up was not blended correctly and looked blotchey. At my event I had to wear sunglasses to cover my face as I was so embarrassed with how I looked and had comments amount how awful my make up looked. I didn’t feel like I could tell her how I felt at the time when she asked me as I felt uncomfortable.
