Savoy Day Spa is an urban sanctuary nestled underground in the heart of Hobart.  A unique blend of historical elegance with modern wellness facilities, we offer a bathhouse and nourishing Aveda face and body treatments for holistic wellbeing.


We understand that rest and recovery are not merely luxuries; they are necesseties for maintaining mental health and overall wellbeing.


To support you in this, we offer a bathhouse and nourishing Aveda face and body treatments.


Our communal bathhouse is the only one in Tasmania where you can drop in alone or with friends, and stay as long as you like. 


The bathhouse has 2 spas (heated to 38 degrees), a magnesium pool (heated to 28 degrees), a finnish sauna (heated to 80 degrees) and a steam room (heated to 44 degrees), and can be added on to any Aveda treatment.

One of the worst waxing experiences of my life and I’ve been getting the same thing done for nearly 20 years. It was painful and my pain threshold is pretty good and very uncomfortable. For a service that usually takes 1.5hrs max I was there for 2.5hrs. A very uncomfortable experience. The girl was absolutely lovely but I felt like she had no idea what she was doing. I left in pain and the next day I feel like I’ve had a hard work out in the gym given the prolonged period I was in position.

We changed our appointment time at the request of staff and when we arrived we were now having a massage before using the wet area. The staff unfortunately forgot to offer us towels and robes and we had to fully dress after our massages and come down to the wet area and change again.

Hi, Another Salon/spa that I visited in Sydney had a small Beauty Bar so that when you exit the spa or sauna, in the ladies changeroom there are some face moisturisers/serums etc to put on. Usually small bottles or samples of any products that you may also sell at the spa if you do? I certainly would have benefited from that on Saturday, as I did not bring any face moisturiser or sunscreen, and spent the next few hours wandering around Hobart in the sun. lovely visit thank you.
