I purchased the Queen for a Day package and can only say I was extremely disappointed. It began with being charged a surcharge for using gift vouchers and continued. Of the two spas, one was filthy with numerous 'floaties' in the murky water. The second was inhabited by a rather large man who had no intention of sharing the facility, spreading himself across it. I decided to have a swim while I was waiting, but the water was so cold I didn't stay in the pool for long (a regular user - she was equipped with her pool noodle - spoke to reception about both of these issues). From there, I eventually had about 10 mins spa time after the 'hog' had vacated, before I had to shower for my massage. The massage itself was lovely, but the room was so cold I was shivering throughout and had goosebumps, negating the benefits of the massage. The treatment also included a mini manicure, which was so badly done it smudged later when I was dressing. I would suggest removing this as part of the package if a 'nail dryer' isn't used. To complete the experience, and in no way the fault of Savoy Day Spa but indicative of the day (which is actually 2.5hrs despite the name of the treatment), another lady had a medical episode in the change room. As a result, as I was attempting to dress in the limited space (she was lying on the floor in front of the clothing lockers with a friend assisting her) the paramedics arrived, so I was then 'caught short' in front of these two males, who then needed the floor space where I was standing to attend to their patient. I ended up in the toilet area. Again, no one's fault, but not what I expected under the heading of Queen for a Day. As this was a cost of almost $300 (with surcharge), I have to say I was left feeling very underwhelmed.
