After 8 years of battling the QLD humidity which generally resulted in frizz, I am finally able to enjoy my curls! With only my 2nd visit to Steve my hair is healthy and 'sassy' - I love it! Steve is generous with his time and advice. I had an allergic reaction with colour at my previous salon, so we were hesitant at what to do to cover the 'silver streaks' coming through. Steve researched ingredients which may be harmful then and there, and we went with a semi to start with - all with great results! He didn't even need to snip at all, as my previous cut with him (and first visit) is still taking shape. Can't recommend him enough, goes above and beyond for service and care.

I was very happy with my curly hair cut and Steve took the time to make sure I was well educated on how to best care for my hair. I appreciate the sample products that I could try before buying. Overall excellent experience and I would highly recommend.

I recently had my first cut with Steve at Harlequin Hair Moorooka. I have curly hair so had a dry cut, and Steve offered lots of helpful advice around products for the Curly Girl Method. I am very happy with my cut, I did not provide a photo as an example (usually so helpful with curly hair) but explained what I was looking for and Steve did a fantastic job with this from my requests/description. His salon is clean and comfortable, with a great range of products - especially for curls. I am really happy to have found someone to cut my curls that is also local, affordable and a lovely experience - Steve was warm and friendly and generous with hair care insights. Would highly recommend, especially if you have curly hair!

I’ve been to see Steve several times and he continues to be the most genuinely caring and skilled stylist. He really listens to you and cares about what you want. He is ready to talk about all kinds of products and doesn’t judge you for your hair choices. He also tries to help in any way he can with issues you are concerned about. My mum even came with me to an appointment a while ago and he made a big impact on her even though she wasn’t getting her hair done! TLDR: Steve is the best: Get your hair done here!
