I booked a trial and a real appointment for a big event in my life. I chose suite j as it is a longstanding st Kilda hairdresser of good repute. Unfortunately I was allocated to a hairdresser who was not competent at putting hair up. We tried several styles but he did not have the skills to either curl hair or create a dressed up style. I felt very let down by the salon. This was a big event for me and I had to attend with a rather shabby hairdo. Bad work suite j

I am new to Melbourne. I chose suite j because of the price - the higher the better - that's what I thought. But the haircut I got is the worst in my entire life. Firstly, it is a lot shorter than on the photo I showed and looks bad with the shape of my face. It happens sometimes as hairdresser and myself have different view on how it is better. But the quality of the haircut itself is so bad. It just does not have any shape whatever I do. The length on the back is different. It's just as I had a haircut from a kid. If it is 20$ probably I understand. But I paid 80$ for this disaster. I am looking for an advice of people I know to correct it at some other place. I'll never be back at suite j and make sure non of my friends does.

I have been into SuiteJ and unfortunately have had to go back twice for them to fix my highlighted hair which looked extremely streaky. Lovely people but very unhappy with how my hair turned out and wasn’t what I asked for.

I expect a hairdresser to style my hair- that’s why I paid money to have my hair washed and styled. Dyson hairdryer might be easy on your arm but simply not powerful enough to use professionally. You styled my hair - I asked for smooth and full it’s been a couple of hours since , my hair looks like a frizzy mess . The lady while nice did not have a clue how to do hair. You were not upfront with me . I would have declined the service if I’d known the hairdresser was not a trained professional. Shocking. NOT HAPPY. Frankly I should get my money back.
