Chloe established Style Express n February 2015. We are proud to be finalists in St George Local Business awards for the last 4 years!


Chloe has been a passionate  hairdresser for 10    years and her  love  for the  industry shows through her work and business. Over the years, she has undertaken several courses which include Certificate III and IV in Hairdressing, Barbering and  Makeup. Whilst furthering her education, Chloe has developed her own unique style and shares this with her staff.


The Staff at Style Express are experienced hairdressers who regularly attend training  courses to keep up  with the latest colour, cutting and styling trends to ensure our clients are kept current.


At Style Express, we have chosen to use only the best quality products for our clients.  These include Davines Hair Colours which are ammonia free, and Pure products which are sulphate and paraben free. We also use the Terre a Mer Hair Repair Keratin Treatment which eliminates frizz and relaxes curl whilst also repairing damage to the hair.


We are stockists of Davines, Pure, Juuce, Olaplex, Model Rock, Showpony and Seamless1 Hair Extensions.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't unpleasant. The ladies were nice, but no one spoke to me unless it was to fill out new client information and to follow them to different areas in the salon. I had to ask questions to have any sort of communication and then it was only answered. No conversation, which was very disappointing, as all I could hear was hairdressers conversing with their regular clients. I am new to the area and need a salon where I can relax and have a chin wag. Also my trim was uneven (one section was about 1cm longer than the rest of my hair and his is not a reference to the face framing layers I agreed to.. that I was happy with). More length should have been cut off as I still have many split ends I'm seeing and I don't have layered hair. Just a straight cut. I asked to take off as much needed to leave my hair healthy and free of split ends. It seemed like a quick cut. Also I'm used to having one hairdresser work on me from beginning to end. Not to be passed around for different parts of my hair appointment. Maybe that's why the hairdresser didn't but see how much needed to be cut as she saw my hair for the first time after it was washed/treated?? The treatment has left my hair silky smooth, and a wonderful job was done on the body waves I left the salon with. I'm curious, was I intreated differently because I was a 'voucher customer'?

Hi Team I always ask for a blow-dry / blow wave with volume and I also leave with straight hair. The scalp treatment that Olivia did was great, but I am disappointed with the blow-dry/styling. My extensions feel a bit stiff and higher than usual... when I tie my hair up you can now see my tapes... I really like both Chloe and Olivia, but I can't say I had the best experience last week. Hopefully it will improve.

I booked the appointment few weeks ago for myself and my daughter. When I rang I asked if Chloe could do my hair as I wanted an up style. Seeing as it was on a Sunday I was told the girls who are selected to work on that day will do it for you. Half my luck both girls were trainees and were honest to let me know they couldn’t do an up style. One of the girls rang Chloe the owner and told her what I wanted. I assumed Chloe would come in and do it. NO such luck. I’m VERY disappointed. I can’t fault or blame the trainees but the Boss should know better

I made an online appointment for Saturday the 26th of August to style my hair. I received a text message 2 days prior to that appointment as a reminder and instructions on how to carefully prepare as well as showing up on time. I showed up on time and was left waiting for 20 minutes before a stylist came to greet me and start the process. It was not the stylist I had requested or booked in my online appointment. It seemed as though they double booked themselves as my stylist wasnt made unavailable until after my another stylist had begun styling my hair. Additionally, I could over hear the other stylists whispering to each other about me. The salon is mirrored entirely so it was not hard to both hear and see what they were saying. I was offered tea, coffee or water. I asked for water and the junior stylist came back with a glass of water that had lipstick stains on it. For the style I normally book (GHD curls) styling only on pre washed hair. I am usually charged $45 ($47 using card and not cash) and noticeably there was a small sign as the reception desk notifying of cost increases - which was fair but i did not expect to be charged $78 at the end of my appointment on that day as that is a $31 increase in charges. I’ve been coming to this salon for quite some time and the ladies working there are familiar with me. Overall, I was shocked to say the least. This was not a pleasant experience. I have made this review anonymous because I feel so shamed after the way I saw the workers whispering. I’m so disappointed with the service and will not be recommending this salon again.

I was very disappointed with the service received on Saturday. Firstly because arriving home my husband thought I was involved in an accident from the amount of colour left on my face and second, the increase of fees is unjustifiable
