I wanted to have slightly lighter pieces at the front of my hair to frame my face better but they’re too light, too much hair was used, wasn’t blended into my hair, and came out as money pieces. I brought this up with the stylist but was gaslit into just using my hair to blend it. The colour in the rest of my hair isn’t blended and you can see that when I put my hair up. Long story short, the stylist just put unblended chunks of colour through my hair and waiting to get it fixed at another salon.

The customer service and overall feel of the place is very nice. I came in and asked for specifically what I wanted which was some thinning of my hair so its lighter and a trim off the bottom. The lady who was doing my hair recommended for me not to do thatbecause it will cause it to have more volume when it grows. I said I understood but that didn't matter to me because I just needed it to be thinned and I don't mind cutting it again to maintain it. She washed my hair then sat me down and explained to me the situation and that she was just going to trim it. At this point I wasn't going to explain myself again as she obviously didn't want to do what I wanted. Overall, I'm just a bit disappointed that I had to pay $150 for a trim off the bottom. Especially when booking online it said $90-$100. I also agreed to a treatment which made my total around $210.

I was at the salon for approximately 2.5 hours. The owners were away on a training course in Sydney. While I was at the salon I was wondering how lucky the owners were to have found someone like Marine. She really puts her heart and soul into her job juggling lots of things at the same time, from people arriving for their appointment late !! (me! sorry) to assisting her colleague Hannah with tips and ideas and providing her with a second opinion to cleaning up, mixing colours etc. etc. I left the salon feeling rejuvenated and was finally given the exact hairstyle and colour I wanted but never got at other salons elsewhere. A big thank-you to Marine! Note to the owners: I love the slightly understated but tasteful design of your salon! See you all when I'm back in August 2026! I promise I will be on time then!
