I thought I had better mention that twice now I have had an apprentice who would benefit from learning how to better wash hair at the basin and blast dry hair. The wash was quite rough and quick (I still had dye in my ear afterwards), and during the blast dry, she didn't seem to know what she was doing and even blasted my ear drums with the dryer, twice. I had to ask her to use the blower downwards on my hair (which she did for a little while and then reverted to what she had been doing), and on both occasions, while my hair was still very wet, asked if that was enough. I have to say that I have always been very happy with the service provided by every staff member at The Basin over the years. This is the first time that I have felt that I needed to share this experience so the apprentice has the opportunity to receive further training.
