It is a pleasure to be managed by Dannii and Melody. They are warm people who share their skills and work together to provide informed colour choices. They are very skilled in toning colours and working with the client to achieve a beautiful result suited to the person's hair texture, condition and facial features. Dannii is a proficient hair cutter and grooms styles to suit the person in the chair. Head massages post colour are relaxing, and products are very usable. It is a bonus to access toilets whilst downstairs and feel removed from the hustle and bustle of the Mall upstairs.

Absolutely love Underground Haircutters. As someone who previously avoided hairdressers because they were often bitchy and judging about my hair, failed to give me decent service and then way overcharged at the end; I have finally found the perfect salon! Dave and the other staff are amazing! It's the first time I've felt comfortable and satisfied with the service. All the staff are friendly yet professional, and cut and colour my hair exactly how I want it. They have never made nasty comments about my lack of hair care - in fact I think Dave really enjoys a challenge! Since getting my colour done at Underground, I haven't once touched up the colour inbetween sessions. My ombre is awesome! Also, the online booking interface works well and gives you an approximate cost, before you go there and get a price shock! They are a bit more pricey than other places, but it's completely worth it considering how much time the staff spend with you. They deserve every dollar they get paid.
