Unico Hair salon is the brainchild of  Sofia Basile. Established nearly 30 years ago in the bustling Degraves Street in Melbourne. We specialise in unique style haircuts for men and woman, and are specialized colour experts. Melbourne made vegan products and we offer refilling.

For your convenience our Fitzroy Salon is open Weekends. Surcharge applies on weekend bookings.

Duvessa did my hair and she was awesome, she did a full head of foils and it turned out so beautiful. The whole team was lovely too, they all had a part that they helped with. Would definitely recommend this salon.

This salon is a cut above the rest - the staff are great and really know what they are talking about. Sofia took time to educate me on my curls and I absolutely love the cut. As someone who never really enjoys hair cuts this was a great experience. Im already booked in for my next appointment!

My experience at Unico was wonderful and I’ll definitely be a regular. From the moment I walked in, the care for the Client was evident. The standard of treatments: colour, treatment and cut was exceptional and very good value. I’ve walked away extremely pleased with the standards of the services- but also the customer service experience. Thank you Sophia and your amazing team.
