Urban Chic is forever changing with the times and now provides ipads for all our clients to maximize their experience within the salon. The ipads are loaded with the latest fashion magazines and wifi connectivity for their convenience.

Incredible environment and a 10/10 service. Back massage chairs with a heater are a nice touch to the basin experience, as having your head in a sink for a long period of time is not always the most enjoyable. Love the finished outcome of my hair, exactly what I was hoping for :)

I walked into the salon and nobody seemed to notice or care that I was there. Granted, they were quite busy. Eventually someone told me to take a seat. The owner had her husband there and he was going on about accomodation deals for their upcoming holiday which seemed quite unprofessional to me. After about 20 minutes I was finally taken to a chair and then had to wait some more. Finally met my hairdresser, Carla, who was as awesome! Professional, gave me advice and was super friendly. The whole time the owner was calling clients and telling them she was going on holidays so had to rearrange their appointments, fine, but when it interferes with your other staff’s ability to use the til for their clients it’s pretty annoying. I would go back again for Carla.

Thank you for your review, I always appreciate any feedback from our clients on their experience at Urban Chic, however I would just like to clarify with you some of the issues you experienced today as this morning was not the normal! My apologies that you weren’t greeted in an appropriate manner, sometimes when the salon is busy we may miss someone walking in, this is unacceptable and I’ll endeavor that this doesn’t occur again! Our next point is something you’re unaware of, what my husband was organising for me was not a family holiday but my accommodation in New York for New York Fashion Week were I’d only been asked yesterday to lead a Team for Wella Australia, so as you can imagine leaving within two weeks causes many issues, which you experienced today, organising any work trip usually involves business hours during which I can contact all my prebooked clients and arrange new appointments for them inevitably these clients will be done after hours, which then leads to less access to our computer system I apologise if this was an inconvenience to you.
