The massage I received really wasn't the intensive 'stress relief' it was supposed to be - more of a general 'all over the shop' relaxation massage. There was little focus on tight spots or knots and none of the deep tissue work I was hoping for. It's not often I get to treat myself to a massage anymore so I was just a little disappointed this was not executed more specifically to my needs. For the price it is I would have expected a practitioner who could immediately identify where knots and tightness needed working. However, it was a pleasant overall experience. All staff are very friendly and the environment is relatively well appointed and quite relaxing. I've certainly had worse treatments...

I do love going to Wellsprings because of the lovely, relaxing environment. Reception staff were lovely and efficient, and enjoy the welcome tea. Actual massage was not what I expected, (I had the aroma massage for 1 hour). I felt like I had oil just rubbed onto my skin, not a massage at all. I wasn't asked how hard I would prefer my massage, so I felt that I shouldn't tell the technician either, (perhaps I should have spoken up, but I didn't want to offend/embarrass her). She was very lovely though. I have had this treatment previously and found the massage wonderful, and in the past have been asked how hard I preferred the massage. I do suffer from bad neck/shoulder/upper back muscle soreness/stiffness, and looked forward to my visit, but left feeling somewhat let down. I have found previous technicians to be thorough, and have been asked if I have any sore spots or areas that require extra attention. Perhaps the lass this time was "new" or a little inexperienced.

I came in on my day off work, the service was nice, staff was lovely how ever I did not receive the massage I booked. I booked a hot rock but i received an aroma massage. it was a simple mistake and was taken care and the money I was overcharged was put over to my next appoint however this money was not offered back to me as a refund. as it is MY money a refund should have been offered.
